In a Nutshell
At RMIT University's GEElab, we are researching how game design thinking can positively affect and alter architecture & urbanism, mobility, popular media, storytelling, engagement, other sciences as well as society itself.
In September 2011 GEElab contributed to the Audi Urban Future Summit as part of the Workshop group.
EXPERTS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD TALK ON THE FUTURE OF INDIVIDUAL MOBILITY IN MEGACITIESThe look of the city of the future remains an unknown. It would be too simplistic to conceive it only from the perspective of an automobile maker. Audi is therefore seeking to involve international experts in the debate in the context of the Audi Urban Future Initiative. The Audi Urban Future Summit will take place on 12th September, immediately before the 64th International Auto Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, Germany. It will focus on the subject of “ENERGIES – What forces will change the cities of the future?”The aim of the symposium, to which more than 300 international experts from various disciplines have been invited, is to build knowledge networks. How will the urban space and mobility have to develop in order to meet the demands of cities in the future?
