On 27 September 2012, the inaugural Business Play 2012 Symposium & Workshop in Karlsruhe, Germany, gathered top-notch Enterprise Gamification experts from the USA, Australia and from Europe, as well as an audience of German IT game-changers and decision makers. Details about bizplay 2013 will be announced shortly, the event will take place in Karlsruhe on two days, 26 & 27 September 2013.
bizplay 2012 was an intense one-day format that featured both talks as well as workshops led by our invited experts. During their morning talks, the experts shared how gamification, game design and persuasion design methods can positively affect and alter key management fields in enterprises and institutions. During their afternoon workshops, the experts playfully tackled select enterprise challenges together with the attendees. The challenges had been pre-selected from a pool of suggestions submitted by the attendees during the registration process. In addition, Audi AG’s strategy unit delivered a keynote to introduce the audience to how game thinking plays a role for them, in the future.
Together with their co-organizers, the GEElab Europe team managed to gather an audience of of passionate entrepreneurs, successful executives, and institutional representatives, as well as game-changers from diverse fields. Seats had been STRICTLY LIMITED and had been awarded on a first come--first serve basis (with a maximum of two individuals per company). bizplay 2012 was sold out and considered a successs amongst attendees and experts.
