In a Nutshell
At RMIT University's GEElab, we are researching how game design thinking can positively affect and alter architecture & urbanism, mobility, popular media, storytelling, engagement, other sciences as well as society itself.
RMIT University is currently inviting applications for PhD scholarships.
The Games and Experimental Entertainment Lab (GEElab) would like to encourage applicants with at least a first class Honors or equivalent, but preferably a Masters qualification or equivalent, who are interested in undertaking game design and entertainment technology research.
Particular research interest areas include:
· Gameful and playful design
· Health and wellbeing
· Livable cities
· Education and learning
· and combinations of the aforementioned
If successful you would become a member of the RMIT Games and Experimental Entertainment Lab (GEElab), directed by Dr Steffen P Walz with facilities located in Melbourne, Australia and in Karlsruhe, Germany. As a member of the GEElab you will be part of an expanding international group of postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers of diverse backgrounds.
